Cyndi’s Legislative Victories For St. Johns

  • Fought to keep Florida’s taxes low so job creators can add more good-paying jobs.
  • Increased funding for St. Johns County’s top-ranked school district by $172 per student, 70% more than the state average.
  • Voted to expand the Bright Futures Scholarship to cover the cost of summer enrollment.
  • Secured funding to improve school safety with millions for mental health services, cameras, and security improvements.
  • Increased funding for mental health services and substance abuse prevention.
  • Co-sponsored “Legacy Florida,” which sets aside a minimum of $200 million annually to recover the health of the Everglades, our waterways, and springs.
  • Worked to get $62 million in funding to restore and rebuild our beautiful beaches.
